28 years of disability

This week I celebrated 28 years of being full time disabled, which meant not working anymore, spending more or less 8 years in my bed at the beginning. What else? Many, many shitty moments, because of the pain, because of the isolation, because of the cost and the little income, because how disabled people are treated by the system and its institution. What else? Having being marginalized, I ended up having to rebuilt my whole community, or a big part of it, and now I am surrounded by quite amazing people. People who can blow my mind, and soothe my heart, by their tenacity/persistence, their resistance/resilience, their engagement/accountability to take care of the Living World that we all share, humans and non-humans included. You have all my gratitude…
